Ship Wheel Clocks

Ship wheel clocks refer to those nautical clocks which are in the shape of a ship's wheel. A ship wheel is a navigator's most important guide since the ship is steered towards safe ground through the use of this wheel. Nowadays, various clocks in the shape and style of a ship wheel accentuate home or office or clubroom décor.


Materials used
The ship wheel clock is made of different types of wood such as pine, oak, teak and metals like brass, copper, aluminum etc. Most of the ship wheel clocks are added with several coats of clear coat to make the wheel appear to be wet. In some cases, both the clock and the wheel are made of the same material or at times, the clock is made of brass or other metal, while the ship wheel is made of wood.
