Drying of Monkshood
Monkshood are cut just before they start to bloom. Then they are gathered and tied in small bunches. Hang them upside down. Leave them in a dark, dry, well ventilated place for drying. After drying store them with precautions.

Uses of Monkshood
Dried monkshood is a wonderful dried tall line flower and works well in vertical arrangements. Dried foliage is used in exotic herbal wreaths. Dried root is used as analgesic, anodyne, antirheumatic, diaphoretic, diuretic, febrifuge, homeopathy, irritant, and sedative. They are also used to make herbal tea. Dried flowers give color and flavor beer, soups and stews.
