Cultivation of Feverfew
Feverfew is a herbaceous plant. When once planted it gives year after year an abundant supply of blosoms with only the merest degree of attention. It is a very easily grown plant and succeeds in an ordinary garden soil. They can even be grown in walls. These flowers are usually self sowing. The leaves have a refreshing aromatic fragrance. The stem is upright, erect, hairy, finely furrowed and branching. Leaves are alternate, hairless, toothed, and divided into broad, lobed segments.

Uses
Dried feverfew are in great demand in floral industry. Dried leaves are also used in tea for a good flavor. It is also preserved and added to certain foods to give flavor to the foodstuff. Dried leaves of feverfew are uses in the treatment of migraine.

Drying Feverfew
Feverfew should be dried appropriately for subsequent processing while preserving the active ingredients. They can be easily dried by the method of air drying. They should be cut just before the flowers are in full bloom. Then, hang them upside down in dry, dark, open, airy place. If required a fan can also be used to enhance the process of drying. After drying, store them in a air tight container until they are utilized.
