Bone China has traditionally been
used to make objects of craft and fine art, including decorative and
utilitarian household wares. It was originally developed in England to
compete with porcelain. English bone china was traditionally made made
by combining two parts of bone-ash and one part of China clay and one
part of china stone. Antique Chinaware includes a variety of dinnerware
sets, cutlery, glassware etc. Elegant and finely handcrafted Chinaware
lined with gold polish was used by the aristocracy in the 18th century.
Exotic design, together with vibrant colours combine to make appealing
display items. Reproduction of antique Chinaware belonging to different
time period is being done on a large scale and exported to a number of
countries.
